TEXELCO was founded in the 1970s as a manufacturer of components and systems for the automation of industrial plants and operating machinery. TEXELCO was the first company in Italy and among the first in the world to develop a signalling system with vertical development that was visible from a distance and from any angle. The company laid the foundations to allow the machine to communicate with the operator through a colour signalling code.

Safety

In the early 1980s, its sensitivity to social issues led it to become involved in the protection of machine operators, well before EU directives with this aim came into force. It was one of the first companies in the world to deal with safety switches and sensors. In 1984 it began working with Kronenberg GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of safety devices. The market rewarded the work done; the need for a new organisation arose; in 1988 the company changed its name to T.E. The new organisational structure led to rapid development.

Innovation

At the end of the 1990s, the company developed a total technological renewal of its production range in order to provide the market with increasingly advanced and innovative products. In short, new warning lights, new LED bulbs, new sensors and safety switches were born. At the beginning of 2003, in order to respond more precisely and punctually to the new challenges posed by the market, the company divided its activities: T.E. continued to follow the interests of the represented Kronenberg, while the research, development and production division took on the original name TEXELCO. TEXELCO’s goal for the new millennium: to improve efficiency, to guarantee ever more innovative solutions for its customers and to become the benchmark for European customers.

Quality

TEXELCO is currently located in one of the most productive and technologically advanced areas in Europe: in the triangle between Milan, Varese and Como.
